Wang Xiangjun, formal school name Wang Yaobin, is a director of the Hebei Inside-picture Research Association head of the inside-picture research office of Huayixuan. He was born in Jingxian County, Hebei in 1969. He ardently loved art in his childhood. His father was a doctor, but he had great attainment of art. Influenced by his father, Wang Xiangjun had a good foundation of art. When he was at school, he had become a well-known little painter. After he finished school, his father trained him in painting and he made remarkable achievement in a year. In 1984, he began to learn from Wang Qian, his uncle. With his uncle’s strict coaching and his diligence, he made rapid progress in the art of inside-picture. His excellent picture composition, shape and color showed his talent in art. In 1986, he took part in the Hebei Provincial Inside-Picture Contest held by great master Wang Xisan, he won the second prize. Among the dozens of competitors, he was the youngest one. Since then, he has been a key technical member of Yihuzhai in the Hebei school. In 1989, he, following his uncle, went to Shijiazhuang to found Huayixuan the institute. From then on, he has studied the artistic styles of the four schools of the inside-picture. His craftsmanship is perfect. He is proficient in the paintings of figures, animals, landscape, flowers and birds and portraits. Dozens of his master pieces such as “A Hundred Deer¨, “A Hundred Cats¨, A Hundred Tigers¨, “All the Birds Turning to the phoenix¨, “One Hundred and Eight Generals of Liangshan¨ are all in favor of collectors both at home and abroad.
