Song Yi Ming

Song Yiming, art name Da Cheng, was born in Dingzhou County, Hebei China in 1974. He was interested in painting from his childhood. He started to learn inside-painting right after his graduation from high school in 1991. Under the guidance and direction of Mr.Wang Qian and with hard work he made rapid progress. Later he received further guidance of several famous masters including Mr.Wang Xisan, Mr. Wang Chunguang, and Mr. Wang Guanyu. Song Yi Ming has his own style and his works are lively and refreshing yet with traditional Chinese black ink interweaving with light colors. He specializes in painting people, portrait , insects and particularly goldfish. His work " Nine dragons scene", " A bowl of goldfish" and " Mountains and Rivers" won high honors in national level competitions and were collected by provincial museums.
