Zhang Keqin was born in Jing County, Hebei Province in 1975. Since childhood is very fond of the calligraphy and painting arts. As a student his calligraphy works many times won awards. In 1995 and 1996 he took advanced courses in the Hebei Normal University Fine Arts department. His work theme is widespread. His technique is comprehensive. His writing technique is exquisite.
