Later he studied in the Hebei Normal University Fine Arts Department, furthering his education for three years. He has the high creative ability ability in drawing. His work have been exhibited in provincial art exhibits and have won state-level calligraphy and painting competition many times. In 1986 he started to learn inside-bottle painting from the renouned painter Wang Xueming. Under this respected teacher, he learned the technique of inside bottle painting quickly. Lu Jianguang'w work covers many topics but primarily portraits. He has studied and researched with deep concentration areas of traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, and computer fine arts. He corrects his deficiencies by learning from others' strong points. He has received the domestic and foreign collectors and colleagues' widespread commendation. His work has been displayed many times in places such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, the US and the UK. His prestige increases day by day, famous far and wide. His work "All Men Are Brothers 108 Characterst" received "Practices Three Cups" the inside-bottle painting big exhibition match first prize. "Kind Light" received thecÚractices Three Cups?grand prize in 2007. "The Moon Reflection in the Water Goddess of Mercy" received "Thousand Auspiciousness Cups" the Chinese calligraphy and painting big exhibition match gold medal, "Eternity Model" will have the honor to receive "Ouyang Xunbei" the calligraphy and Painting" competition third prize. The inside-bottle painting "Kind Light" attained the Chinese Xihu Exposition and China Industrial Art Master Show" copper prize. Presently Lu Jianguang is a member of the China Industrial Art Association, the China Industrial Art Academic Society, the Chinese Old Age Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee, and the Hebei Province Artist Association.
