David Loring Nicoll was the only son of Doris and Alan Nicoll, who owned the Loring Galleries in Greenwich, CT. His parents moved to South Florida in the 1980's, I believe, and Mr. Nicoll pre-deceased his wife, leaving her the Snuff Bottle collection, as well as other treasures. David Nicoll was an attorney with a large Telecom non-profit (National Cable Television Association) in Washington, DC. He passed in 2006, leaving no heirs.
