This writing from the larger bottle gives a good representation of one of the difficulties in determining the history of an inside painted bottle.
It is my opinion that little can be known with certainty unless the collector makes his/her purchase directly. By bottle and painting style,
this bottle is most certainly from the Peach River Studios in the 1970's or 1980's. The person I bought this bottle from believes he bought it in the early
1990's. The calligraphy is only fair, so reading the inscription is difficult.

Traditional Chinese dating is done on a 60 year cycle with two characters representing the date. The first character of the pair cycles every
10 years, the second every 12 years. 60 being the least common multiple of 10 and 12 results in the 60 year cycle before the same character
pair returns.

The first character of this date is ding and looks similar to a J. This character cycles on "7 years: 1977, 1987, 1997.
